Secretary's Report:
- Picnic 2008 Stricker's Grove. Meet was help between Lodges 84 & 113 to discuss the 2008 Family Picnic.
Concerns were voiced over the cost of the picnic. Lodge 113 voiced that they are considering not being a part of
the picnic this year and left it up to our Lodge. Information was shared with Lodge 84 at tonight's meeting and it was
put to the membership to help come up with solutions and ideas. Secretary Patti Brown suggested that we skip the
picnic this year and go to an every other year schedule for it, or having it elsewhere such as a county park. Brother
Scarborough voiced his concern stating that he feels we should not completely do away with the picnic even if we
lose money on it. All agreed that it is a great event for families to get together for an evening of fun. President Watt
stated that if we could possibly come up with sponsors for the picnic it would help defray the cost. President Watt left
the topic open for discussion for the June meeting and a final decision will be made then.
