Promoting the Law Enforcement Fraternity is not something we do... it is who we are.
- Unity: I support My brothers and sisters. - Loyalty: I support My Fraternity, the FOP. - Respect: I demonstrate the professionalism that makes my Fraternity great.

Happy Holidays to all. I hope everyone has a great holiday. We are all very lucky to have what we have, and it starts with your family - and
that includes your FOP family. I also hope we keep the many members who have passed on, and those members who may be less
fortunate, in our thoughts and prayers.
I would like to thank all the members who volunteered at our 2011 “Christmas with the Kids” program. If you missed it, you missed a bunch of
fun! Please plan on attending next year. We had over 24 kids participate and they enjoyed the morning a great deal. For those who have
helped in the past, you must agree that it warms your heart to see the kids do what kids do best…shop!! Special thanks to Capt. Rick
Merschbach and Cpl Jay Schmitt for all the time they donated to make our program the best.
I wish to thank everyone who participated in our Christmas raffle. Our 3 lucky winners were: Grand Prize: Ipad 2 went to Cyn Macke, Second
Prize: $150.00 went to Susu Freemond-Brown, and Third Prize: $50.00 went to Leanna Schmitt. Congratulations to all! A special thank you
to Leanna, who also help at the “Christmas with the Kids” event.
As we look towards a new year, I wanted to thank you for having the confidence in me to continue to represent our Lodge as your President.
You have allowed me to make our Lodge a major part of the State FOP. This year, I will start my 29th year with the Sheriff’s Office, and my
15th year as your FOP President. Where does the time go?! I must thank my family and parents for all the support they have given me over
the years; without them I wouldn’t be the person I am today. My father has been a big part of our Lodge cooking crew, and an even bigger
part of my daily life.
I would like to take a moment to thank our Lodge Officers, some whom will not be returning for the 2012 term. Brother Kevin Broderick will
replace Brother Randy Lemon as our new Secretary. I wish the best to Randy - thank you for all you have done for the lodge, it’s no easy
task.
Please continue to attend and make contributions at our monthly meetings. Your attendance and comments do make a difference in our
Lodge. I will continue my commitment of helping to make FOP 84 the best in the west and in the state!!
I must also take the time to thank our brother lodges: 74, 112 & 113 for all their support over the past years. I hope we will continue building
bridges between even more lodges in the future.
Fraternally,
Brother Stephen Watt,
President
